Labour ComplianceThe Government of Madhya Pradesh on November 23, 2022, notified a draft of amendment in the Madhya Pradesh Factories Rules, 1962.

Any objection or suggestion, which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft of the amendment on or before the expiry of the period specified above shall be considered by the State Government.

The following has been amended-

•In rule 5 which is removing the machine, for the words and figure "remain in force up to 31st December of the year for which the license is so granted or renewed the words and figure "remain valid for a period of 1 to 10 years or more, as chosen by the Occupier from the date of grant of license or date of renewal of license subject to the remittance of the fee applicable for the period of license so applied" shall be substituted.

•In rule 6 which is spinning frames, in sub-rule (1)] in the existing proviso, for the full stop, the colon shall be substituted, and thereafter the following proviso shall be added, namely:-

"provided further that, proportional fee shall be charged relative to each calender year of period of licence" 3.

•In rule 7 which is Cop winding machine, in sub-rule (1)(a), in the existing proviso, for the full stop, the colon shall be substituted and there after the following proviso shall be added, namely

"provided further that, proportional fee shall be charged relative to each calender year of period of licence", 

•In form 3 which is Prescribed under Rule 5 of M.P. Factories Rules, 1962), for the words and figure "remain in force till the 31st day of December, 20... the words "remain valid from the date.... so fate shall be substituted.
