Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Kerala on November 18, 2022, issued Kerala Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood, Regulation of Street Vending and Licensing) Amended Scheme, 2022 to further amend the Kerala Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood, Regulation of Street Vending and Licensing) Scheme, 2019.

The following amendments have been stated:

• In sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 12, in the Table, in column (4), under the heading “Vending Fee” for the words “Guideline value” wherever it occurs, the words “fair value” has been substituted.

• In sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 12, after the Table, the following Explanation has been inserted, namely: — 

“Explanation: “fair value” means fair value of land as defined under the Kerala Stamp Act, 1959 (17 of 1959)”;

• In Form-II, under the heading “Conditions”, in Condition 8, for the words “are sold” the words “are not sold” has been substituted.

This will come into force at once.
