The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) on July 14, 2020 has decided to extend the timeline for filing of annual returns and annual reports by producers, manufacturers, refurbishers, bulk consumers, dismantlers and recyclers as per the E-waste (Management) Rules, 2016 for the financial year 2019- 2020.
The revised timelines are as follows:-
1) Submission of annual returns in Form 3 by all stakeholders is extended from June 30, 2020 to August 31, 2020.
2) Submission of annual report with regard to implementation of the rules by State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) is extended from September 30, 2020 to November 30, 2020.
3) Submission of consolidated annual report on management of E-waste by CPCB to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change is extended from December 30, 2020 to February 28, 2021.
