The Himachal Pradesh Labour Department on July 30, 2020 has allowed the renewal of registration or licence granted under several labour laws in automatic non discretionary deemed renewal manner subject to submission of renewal applications online along with online deposit of renewal fee through existing portals of department.
Following are the list of laws for which renewal of registration or licence can be done through existing portals:
• The Factories Act, 1948
• The Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970
• The HP Shops & Commercial Establishment Act 1969
• The Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979
