class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The State Government of Jharkhand on September 03, 2020 has declared Consumer Price Index (CPI) applicable to the employees engaged in Government offices, Undertakings, Boards and local bodies in the state of Jharkhand for July 2019 to December 2019.
The rates of Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) will be based on the average of all India Consumer Price Index (CPI) on which the minimum rates of wages have been fixed in the above scheduled employments. The payment of VDA on the basis of average CPI of July 2019 to December 2019 and is payable from April 01, 2020.
