The State Government of Haryana on October 13, 2020 has issued the draft Haryana Management of Municipal Properties and State Properties (Amendment) Rules, 2020 to further amend the Haryana Management of Municipal Properties and State Properties Rules, 2007.
In the Haryana Management of Municipal Properties and State Properties Rules, 2007, after Rule 4, on “Fixation of sale price or premium”, new rules related to the following shall be inserted:-
• Rule 4A on Rate of sale for religious/community sites etc shall be inserted.
• Rule 4B on Procedure for sale of site for Social/Religious/ Charitable activities or purpose for the construction of Worship places/ Dharmshalas/ community centres etc shall be inserted.
• Rule 4C on Special provision in case of emergent social responsibility etc shall be inserted.
• Rule 4D on Additional Condition for allotment of land for Religious/ Social/Charitable purposes shall be inserted.
The Government invites comments and suggestion on the draft rules shall be taken into consideration by the Government on or after the expiry of a period of 15 days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette. It may be forwarded to the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Haryana, Urban Local Bodies Department, Chandigarh from any person in respect of the draft of rules before the expiry of the period so specified.
