The Labour Department of Tripura on November 10, 2020 has issued a Notification to notify the following inspection procedure and inspection checklist for delivery of services to the citizens or entrepreneurs under Boilers Act, 1923:-
Inspection Procedure:
• Ground inspection of pressure parts before erection
• Simulation test of pressure parts
• Boiler drums alignment inspection
• Inspection of Welded joints
• Hydraulic Test
• Steam Test as per Regulations
Inspection Checklist:
• Verification of engraved Boiler Registration number
• Checking the physical condition of safety valves
• Working of feed water pumps
• Any scale or oil solvents in internal or external parts of boiler
• Condition of stay bolts or tube ends
