The Labour Department of Tripura on November 13, 2020 has issued a Notification to notify the procedure, list of documents, timelines for delivery of services under the Boilers Act, 1923 for submission of online application for renewal, and registration of boiler and manufacturing of boiler.
Application registration of boiler:
• The Entrepreneur shall submit online application, along with the fee, deficiency in application shall be informed by the scrutinizing officer to the applicant
• The documents to be submitted with the application are; welding procedure specification for approval, list of tools and tackles, list of technical personnel detailing designation, list of welders etc.
• Inspection shall be conducted and the report shall be made and submitted to the department
• Final operation certificate will be issued for 12 months from the date of hydraulic test
• Timeline for registration of boiler is 30 days
Application for Renewal of Boiler License:
• If application is found to be in order the department will allocate inspection for hydraulic test
• Final operation certificate will be issued for 12 months from the date of hydraulic test
• Timeline for renewal of boiler is 07 days
Application for registration of boilers manufacturer:
• The Entrepreneur shall submit online application, along with the fee, deficiency in application shall be informed by the scrutinizing officer to the applicant.
• The documents to be submitted with the application are; workshop ownership or lease agreement, list of tools, machinery, etc.
• Timeline for registration of boiler manufacturer is 30 days.
