The Labour Department of Meghalaya on December 22, 2020 has issued a notification for the introduction of the online based system of the auto renewal of the licenses under the following acts.
The following procedure must be followed:
• The Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970
1. Form I for the application of registration of the establishment
2. Form IV for the application for license for contractors
3. From VII for the renewal of license of the contractors.
• Inter-State Migrant Workmen Act, 1979
1. Form I for the application of registration of the establishment
2. Form IV for the application for license for contractors
3. From VII for the renewal of license of the contractors.
• Meghalaya Shops and Establishments Act, 2003
1. Form A for the registration of the establishment
2. No inspection shall be required in case of the registration, but the application shall be submitted within 30 days.
