The Department of Industries of Himachal Pradesh on December 22, 2020 has issued a notification for the incorporation of ease of doing business reforms in consonance with the business reforms action plan. In this case, the government notifies the following actions:
• The concerned department shall introduce new key strategies and initiatives further extending the encouragement of the industry experts.
• Feedback and consultations of industry and community will be taken into account before finalizing or issuing business/investment/industrialization related legislations, policies, guidelines and strategic initiatives.
• Each draft business regulation shall be published online for a period not less than 30 days to invite public comments/ feedback on the same prior to enactment and also shall publish online the comments/feedback received on the draft business regulation and how they have been addressed in the final regulation.
• The legal basis, necessity, and business-friendly aspect of each draft business regulation along with the draft shall be published online.
• The Commissioner/Director of Industries, Himachal Pradesh will be the Nodal Authority for above mentioned purposes.
