Government of Karnataka mandates the use of Central Inspection System

Labour ComplianceThe State Government of Karnataka on March 08, 2021 has mandated the use of Central Inspection System (CIS) developed by Karnataka Udyog Mitra through a state single window called ebiz portal with effect from March 22, 2021.

The following departments are instructed to issue separate Government Orders and Notifications:-

1. Department of Factories, Boilers, Industrial Safety and Health

2. Labour Department

3. Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, and

4. Legal Metrology Department,

mandating all inspection procedure through Central Inspection System only. All the database of the industry, inspection division or zoning or circle mapping with inspector list and third-party empanelled inspection entities and other requisite details required for completion of integration and for scheduling of inspections.
