The Labour Department, Rajasthan on March 23, 2021 has issued the Rajasthan Third Party Building & Other construction Workers Establishment Inspection Scheme to achieve the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) and to simplify the inspection of registered establishment under the Building & Other Construction Workers Act, 1996.
The provisions regarding safety and health measures under the Rajasthan Third Party Building & Other construction Workers Establishment Inspection Scheme are as follows: -
• In Scheme, “Third Party” shall be a person or an agency employing person who is resident/domicile of the Rajasthan State with the age limit of 62 Years and having a valid certificate issued this scheme on the official RajFAB web application.
• Procedure fort Application and recognition of “Third Party” are: -
• Application shall apply online on the official RajFAB web application.
• The chief Inspector factories and boilers on satisfying the qualification and experience of the applicant, will issue certificate under this scheme with the conditions as he deems fit.
• The procedure of Inspection for the “third-party” under building & other construction Workers Establishment: -
• Proposes date online.
• Report should be uploaded online on the official web application of the factories & boilers department (RajFAB) as per the procedures of the department.
• The Limitation and Duties of “Third-Party” are as follows: -
• In case of accidents complaints, establishment shall not be inspected.
• If prohibited by the chief inspector, establishment shall not be inspected.
• Guidelines and instructions issued by Chief Inspector should be complied.
• Report to the Chief Inspector.
• If “Third Party” is involved in any kind of construction/manufacturing/Industrial activity or any ground stated in writing, the state government may revoke the certificate at any time for a limited period or forever.
