Maharashtra Government issues measures and directions under Break the Chain

EHS ComplianceThe Department of Revenue and Forest, Disaster Management, Relief and Rehabilitation, Mantralaya, Maharashtra on April 13, 2021 has issued an order regarding Break the Chain. The measures have been taken to break the chain of transmission from 8 PM on April 14, 2021 till 7 AM on May 1, 2021. 

The following directions will remain in force from 8 PM on April 14, 2021 till 7 AM on May 1, 2021 are as under: -

• Imposition of Section 144 and Night Curfew. 

• All the establishment, public places, activities, services shall remain closed. 

• Services and activities mentioned in essential category are exempted, their movements and operations are not restricted. 

• Guidelines shall be followed by the shops falling under the essential services. 

• Public Transport will be fully operational with the restrictions. 

• All the units that manufacture items needed for essential services as per the order to remain operational with full capacity. 

• There will be no serving of food for eating at the location, parcel or home deliveries are allowed from 7 AM to 8 PM. 

• All Shops, cinema halls, malls shopping centers will remain closed. 

• Religious places of worship to remain closed. 

• Schools and colleges are to be remained closed. 

• No religious, social, cultural or political functions of any kind to be allowed. 

• Construction activity will be allowed only for the sites where Laboure’s are living on site. 

This order will remain force till 7: 00 AM on May 1, 2021.
