The Finance (Excise) Department of Rajasthan on June 11, 2021 has issued a notification for the exemption, with immediate effect, 25% amount of the initial licence fees or basic licence fees, payable for the year 2021-2022 by the licensee for renewal or fresh grant of licences of Hotel Bar, Club Bar or Restaurant Bar.
Provided that whose licence has been renewed for the year 2021-22 prior to the date of this notification no refund shall be allowed but the amount of exemption granted by this notification (twenty five percent of fees) shall be adjusted at the time of renewal of their licence for the year 2022-2023.
