Commercial Compliance The Himachal Pradesh Transport Department on June 15, 2021 has issued the Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2021 to further amend the Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles Rules, 1999.

• The following amendment has been made: Rule 169, which specifies the use of flag, has been inserted, namely:

“No motor vehicle other than the vehicle used by dignitaries or officers authorized by the Central Government or Government of Himachal Pradesh to use distinctive flags, shall display such flags or flag rods”.
