The Pollution Control Board, Assam (PCBA) on July 6, 2021 has issued Direction for implementation of Environment Compensation for Violation of the Noise Pollution Rule under Environment (Protection Act, 1986.
Therefore, to ensure the compliance of the rules and to prevention of violation of noise levels with respect to standards/limits and in compliance, it has been directed to implement the scale of compensation (which is mentioned in the Appendix-A & Appendix- B in the notification) for violation of the noise pollution (Regulation and control) Rules, 2000.
