The Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying on July 14, 2021 has further amended the Notification no. S.O. 1495 (E) dated June 11, 2014 which notifies the provisions for import of livestock animals and also lays down procedure for import of livestock.
Following amendment has been made to the notification:
• In the Schedule to the said notification, in paragraph 1, for the proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:-
“Provided that a pet dog or pet cat as permitted under the applicable baggage rules shall be allowed to be imported through Cochin International Airport, Cochin till September 30, 2021.”.
