Labour Compliance The Education Department (Meghalaya) on July 26, 2021 has issued a notification to enhance the maternity leave from the existing 120 days to 180 days in respect of female employees subject to a limit of two surviving children and the extension of the benefit of paternity leave to the male employees holding sanctioned posts in Deficit Grant-in-Aid Colleges as per the Recommendation of the Meghalaya Fifth Pay Commission.
