Industry Specific ComplianceThe Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC) on August 2, 2021 has issued the Draft OERC (Forecasting, Scheduling and Deviation Settlement of Wind and Solar Generating Stations at the State Level) Regulations, 2021 under Section 181 (3) of the Electricity Act. The objective of these regulations is to facilitate large-scale grid integration of solar and wind generating stations while maintaining grid stability and security as envisaged under the Grid Code, through forecasting, scheduling and commercial mechanism for deviation settlement of these generators.

Further, These Regulations shall apply to all wind and solar generators (including Rooftop PV solar and net-metered solar power projects which are connected through separate feeder at 33kV and above) connected to the State grid in Odisha, including those connected via pooling stations, and using the power generated for self-consumption or sale within or outside the State.

Therefore, Objection/ Suggestion on proposed Draft has been invited on or before 02.09.2021 (by 5.00 P.M.)
