The Environment, Forests, Science and Technology Department, Andhra Pradesh on November 5, 2021 has issued the amendment in the Andhra Pradesh Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, 1982.
The amendment in the Andhra Pradesh Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, 1982 are as follows: -
• In Rule 2(w), (x) & (y) which specifies “Annual Compliance Statement”, “Environment Quality Assessment Auditor” and “Environment Statement” has been inserted.
• In Rule 29-B, 29-C, 29-D and 29-E which specifies “Submission of Annual Compliance Statement”, “Verification of Annual Compliance Statement and Environment Statement”, “Submission of Audited Annual Compliance Statement” and “Empanelment of Environment Quality Assessment Auditor”, has been inserted.
• In Rule 49 which specifies “Environmental Compensation”, has been inserted.
• In Rule 50 which specifies “Online Monitoring”, has been inserted.
• In Rule 51 which specifies “Scientific Waste Disposal”, has been inserted.
