Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) on November 26, 2021 has issued an advisory to mandatorily follow section 8 of the Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act. 1995 which specify “Compulsory transmission of certain channels.”

S.O 476(E) was issued on November 22, 2021 which specify “entries related to name of channel” to further amend Section 8 of the Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act. 1995.
