The Labour Department, Tripura on December 04, 2021 has issued the revised the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) on the basis of six monthly average Consumer Price Index number with effect from October 01, 2021 for categories of workers engaged in the employment of “Incense Sticks” in Tripura.
The following revisions in the VDA have been made:
(a) Rs.53.00, per Kg. incense sticks shall be paid by the owner/contractor, if the workers supply bamboo on his/her own cost.
(b) Rs. 38.00 per Kg. incense sticks shall be paid by the owner/ contractor, if the owners/contractors. supply bamboo to the workers.
(c) Rs. 5477.00 per month shall be paid to the monthly rated workers.
