The Ministry of Commerce and Industry on February 24, 2022 has issued the Draft Indian Boiler (Amendment) Regulations, 2022 to further amend the Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950. This shall come into force on the final date of publication.
The following has been amended namely: -
• Regulation 4J(3) which specify “Procedure for Recognition of Competent Person” the following has been substituted for clause (i) namely: -
“An examination shall be conducted by the Central Boilers Board Examination Standing Committee or an agency or Regional Examination Standing Committees authorized by it.”
