The Government of Kerala on February 28, 2022 has issued a notification to provide certain more relaxations in the COVID-19 measures/guidelines in cinemas, restaurants, and bars across the state.

The following relaxations have been provided:

• The time and seat restrictions on bars, hotels, restaurants, and other eateries have been removed.

• These institutions can now operate on the same schedule as before the Covid regulation. 

• Public events can be as large as 1,500 people per 25 square feet, with necessary social distancing.

The government has made it clear that meetings and training can be conducted offline at government offices if required.
