The Government of Goa on March 07, 2022 has issued a notification to modify certain restrictions considering the prevailing situation, certain restrictions and measures are required to be continued, modified and consolidated to prevent the further spread of the disease.
The following activities/establishment/facilities/events shall be restricted, till further order:-
• Casinos may operate with 100% of its capacity, subject to adherence to all Covid safety protocols, including use of masks, sanitizers, thermal screening etc. however, entry shall be permitted for the asymptomatic guests or staff who:
a. are fully vaccinated and possessing a vaccination certificate of both doses of Covid-19 vaccine issued through CoWIN portal, provided 15 days have elapsed since administration of the second dose of such vaccine;
OR
b. possess RT-PCR negative reports for the test conducted not prior to 24 hours from time of entry.
• Cinema halls/multiplexes/theatres/auditoriums/large closed business establishments are permitted to function with 100% of its seating capacity strictly adhering to COVID appropriate behaviour stipulated as below:
a. The prescribed seating capacity shall not be exceeded.
b. Only Covid vaccination eligible persons with two doses of COVID 19 vaccination/fully vaccinated persons or with Covid negative report will be allowed entry.
C. Persons shall be asymptomatic
d. All persons will be checked at the entrance for fever using thermal scanner and hand sanitizer to be applied.
e. All persons should compulsorily wear face masks at all times during the show.
f. The hall and the rest rooms shall be sanitized frequently

• Place of public amusement, including Spa, Massage parlor, restaurant, Pub, Bar, Hall, Auditoriums, Gyms and Yoga centres, Marriage venue, river cruises, water parks, entertainment parks, are permitted to function with 100% of its capacity strictly adhering to COVID appropriate behavior stipulated as below:
a. The prescribed seating capacity shall not be exceeded.
b. Only Covid vaccination eligible persons with two doses of COVID 19 vaccination/fully vaccinated persons or with Covid negative report will be allowed entry.
c. Persons shall be asymptomatic
d. All persons will be checked at the entrance for fever using thermal scanner and hand sanitizer to be applied.
e. All persons should compulsorily wear face masks at all times during the show.
f. Physical distance of two meters shall be maintained between the persons I
g. The hall and the rest rooms shall be sanitized frequently

• Swimming pools are permitted to function with 100% of its capacity strictly adhering to COVID appropriate behavior stipulated as below:
a. The prescribed seating capacity shall not be exceeded.
b. Only Covid vaccination eligible persons with two doses of COVID 19 vaccination/fully vaccinated persons or with Covid negative report will be allowed entry.
c. Persons shall be asymptomatic
d. All persons will be checked at the entrance for fever using thermal scanner and hand sanitizer to be applied.
e. The change rooms and the rest rooms shall be sanitized frequently.
f. Physical distance of two meters shall be maintained between the persons.
• As the current new COVID 19 cases and test positivity rate are consistently showing a declining trend along with considerable decrease in active case load in the State.
a. Testing at the Airports/Seaports/Railways/Borders to be stopped
b. Entry will be allowed to only Covid vaccination eligible persons with two doses of COVID 19 vaccination/fully vaccinated persons or with Covid negative test report for a test done a maximum of 72 hours prior to entry in Goa and persons entering in Goa for medical emergencies on production of proof.
• Schools are permitted to conduct physical classes for all levels of Schools and Colleges to function for full day with 100% of its seating capacity subject to the separate SOPs to be issued on this behalf by Education Department.
