Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Transport Department, Meghalaya on March 4, 2022 has issued Exemption under the Meghalaya Electric Vehicle Policy – 2021. This has come into effect on March 4, 2022.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Grant of Exemption of Road Tax for Electric Vehicles

• This shall remain in force till March 31, 2026.
