vertical-align: inherit;">The Government of Karnataka on March 7, 2022 has issued the Karnataka Educational Institutions (Classification and Registration) (Amendment) Rules, 2022 to further amend the Karnataka Educational Institutions (Classification and Registration) Amendment Rules, 2018. This shall come into force on April 22, 2022.
The following amendments have been made namely:-
• Rule 3 which specify "Procedure for registration of Educational Institution" sub-rule (3) has been substituted namely:-
“(a) Registration and processing fee, once paid, shall be valid for a period of three years from the date of payment.
(b) If the applicant fails to obtain registration within three years from the date of payment of the registration and processing fee, such fee shall not be refunded for any reason.”
