The Department of Environment and Forest (Delhi) on March 03, 2022 has issued a draft notification regarding the mandatory PUCC for dispense/ selling the petrol/ diesel/ CNG to motor vehicle to control vehicular tail pipe emissions.
The Department has directed all the dealers of the petrol/ diesel/ CNG pumps to dispense/sell the petrol/ diesel/ CNG to motor vehicles only on production of valid Pollution under Control Certificate (PUCC) with immediate effect.
All persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration by the Hon`ble Lieutenant Governor, Government of NCT of Delhi on or after the expiry of sixty days from the date of publication of this Notification in the official Gazette.
The objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft Notification before the expiry of the period so specified shall be considered. Objections or suggestions to this draft Notification may be addressed to the Principal Secretary, Department of Environment, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, 6th Level, ‘C’ –Wing, Delhi Secretariat, I.P Estate, New Delhi-110002 and on e-mail at [email protected].
