The Central Electricity Authority (CEA) on March 17, 2022 has issued a notification to amend the Central Electricity Authority (Furnishing of Statistics, Returns and Information) Regulations, 2007 after receiving the objections and suggestions received from the public on the draft regulations were considered by the Central Electricity Authority which was issued by the authorities on November 06, 2021.
The following amendments have been made:
• Annexure I, which specifies List of formats, frequency (ies) and target date(s) has been amended.
• Annexure II, which specifies Statement of specific applicability of formats has been amended.
• Format No. 21, which specifies Annual data of HV/EHV industry having electricity demand of 1 MW or above has been substituted.
• Format No. 30, which specifies Daily data regarding loss of generation on account of shortage of coal, gas and requisitioned liquid fired capacity has been deleted.
• Format No. 39 , which specifies of Monthly Average Ash percentage has been deleted.
• Format No. 40 , which specifies Report of Quarterly/Annual Average Ash Percentage (by weight) in coal received has been deleted.
• Format No.45 tilled―Fuel-Oil Data has been deleted.
• Format No. 46 , which specifies Status of Progress of Villages Electrification and Irrigation Pump sets Energisation has been deleted.
• Format No. 47, which specifies District wise status of progress of village electrification and energisation of Pump sets has been deleted.
• Format No. 49, which specifies District-Wise Monthly Progress of Energisation of Irrigation Pump sets has been substituted.
• Format No. 50, which specifies Villages electrified in various population groups and the population covered as on......... has been deleted.
• Format no. 51, which specifies Metering Status for the Month---------year--------- has been substituted.
• Format 52, which specifies Details of Failure of Distribution & Power Transformers in the Month---, Year 20-------- has been deleted.
• Format No. 53, which specifies Reliability Index at Customer Level for the Month-----,year------ has been substituted.
• Format No. 54, which specifies Reliability Indices (11kV Feeders) for the Month ----, Year------ has been substituted.
• Format No. 55 Which specifies Financial Turn Around of Power Distribution for the Financial Year, has been deleted
• Format No. 57 Which specifies Fuel Data of Fossil Fuel Based Thermal Power Stations for the month --------20--- has been deleted.
• Format No. 61 Which specifies Monthly Peak Hours Generation Data by Coal/Lignite Based or Combined Cycle Gas Turbine(CCGT) Power Stations has been deleted.
• Format No.62 Which specifies Generating Company Data for Financial Study has been deleted.
• Format No. 63 Which specifies Transmission Company Data for Financial Study has been deleted.
