Finance & Taxation Compliance The Finance Department, Himachal Pradesh on March 21, 2022 has issued Notification regarding rate of interest for certain funds. This shall be in effect from January 1, 2022 to March 31, 2022.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Accumulations at the credit of subscribers to the General Provident Fund and other similar funds shall carry interest at the rate of 7.1 % (seven point one percent).
