The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW) on April 28, 2022 has issued Amendment to Guidelines for Shipbuilding Financial Assistance Policy (SBFAP).
The following has been amended namely: -
• In Para 3 which specify “Eligibility of vessel for availing the Financial Assistance”, the provision has been amended namely: -
“Provided further that in view of the spread of COVID variants which have affected the global supply chain system, the competent authority may grant extension for construction and delivery up to a period of one year for all contracts signed during the period 24.03.2021 to 31.03.2022”
