Commercial ComplianceThe Ministry of Civil Aviation on May 04, 2022 has issued the Draft Ministry of Civil Aviation (Height Restrictions for Safeguarding of Aircraft Operations) Amendment Rules, 2022 to further amend the Ministry of Civil Aviation (Height Restrictions for Safeguarding of Aircraft Operations) Rules, 2015.

The following amendment has been made:

• In Schedule-II, in paragraph 1, in sub-paragraph 1.3, in clause 1.3.1.4, the following proviso shall be inserted namely:-

“Provided that, in case the threshold has been displaced permanently, as declared by the concerned airport operator and approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, the displaced threshold shall be taken as reference point for determining the approach.”

All persons likely to be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that the said draft rules shall be taken into consideration after the expiry of a period of thirty days from the date on which the copies of the Official Gazette in which this notification is published are made available to the public;

Any objections and suggestions, which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft rules within the period specified above, shall be considered by this Ministry.
