The Information Technology Department, Manipur on May 10, 2022 has issued Manipur Information Technology Policy 2022. This shall come into force from May 10, 2022.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The policy will focus on 2 key areas: Improve Infrastructure and Ecosystem and Improving Standards of Living.
• Mission: Imbibing Information Technology as an enabler for economic opportunity and social inclusion for all sections of society.
• Provisions:
1. Common Fiscal Incentives for all companies setting up office in IT domain in State of Manipur.
2. Simplification of Labour Laws
