The Petroleum and Explosive Safety Organisation (PESO) on May 05, 2022 has issued a circular regarding launch of online Paperless Module for Import of Compressed Gases in ISO Tank Containers.
NIC and PESO have developed a paperless application and approval module for granting permission in FORM LS-2A to transport compressed gas in ISO Tank Container within Indian Territory and in FORM LS-2B for import and transport of compressed gas in ISO Tank Container. All the stakeholders are requested to submit application in paperless form only. Digitally signed permissions will be available in the online application portfolio. All the stakeholders who propose to import Hydrofluorocarbons shall upload import authorization for each ISO Tank Container along with requisite documents in the online application portal for import of compressed gas in ISO Tank Container as stated in the notification related to "Import of Hydrofluorocarbons (HFC) is permitted with an import authorization subject to recommendation of Ozone Cell, MOEF&CC".
