Labour Compliance The Labour and Employment Department, Goa on May 2, 2022 has issued Notification regarding revision of rate of Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA). This is in effect from April 1, 2022.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Rates of Variable Dearness Allowance revised on the basis of average Consumer Price Index number for the preceding period of six months.

• The allowance calculated is Rs. 85/- per day for various categories of employees employed in Scheduled Employments.
