The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on May 06, 2022 has issued a notification to amend certain rules of the General Financial Rules 2017 related to contingency funds of India rules.
The following amendments have been made:
• Rule 67(4) has been substituted namely:
“Rule 67(4) the procedure for obtaining an advance from the contingency fund and recoupment of the fund shall be as laid down in the contingency fund of India (amendment) rules, 2021 as amended from time to time. for ready reference, rules have been placed at appendix - 6 to this volume.”
• Appendix 6, which specifies contingency funds of India rules, has been substituted.
