Labour ComplianceThe Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoL&E) on May 26, 2022, has issued a Notification to declare the services engaged in the Coal industry to be a public utility service. This has come into force on May 27, 2022.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Central Government declared the services engaged in the Coal industry to be a public utility service.

• This shall remain in force for six months from May 27, 2022.
