MoF extends ADD on Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) of 1500 series and 1700 series

Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on May 30, 2022 has issued a notification to extend the validity of Anti-Dumping Duty imposed on Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) of 1500 series and 1700 series which falls under sub-heading 4002 19 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act originating in or exported from European Union, Korea RP or Thailand by amending notification No. 43/2017- Customs(ADD), dated 30th August, 2017.

The following amendment has been made:

• Paragraph 3, has been inserted, namely:

“3. Notwithstanding anything contained in paragraph 2, the anti-dumping duty imposed under this notification shall remain in force up to and inclusive of the 31st October, 2022, unless revoked, superseded or amended earlier.”
