MoF continues the ADD on “Jute products”

Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on May 31, 2022 has issued a notification regarding the extension of Anti-Dumping Duty (ADD) on “Jute products” which falls under Tariff Headings 5307, 5310, 5607 or 6305 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, originating in or exported from Bangladesh and Nepal by further amending notification no. 01/2017- Customs (ADD) dated January 05, 2022. 

The following amendment has been made:

• In the above said notification paragraph 3, has been substituted, namely:

“3. Notwithstanding anything contained in paragraph 2, the anti-dumping duty shall remain in force up to and inclusive of the 30th November, 2022, unless revoked, superseded or amended earlier.”.
