The Consumer Affairs, Food & Civil Supplies Department, Andhra Pradesh on June 03, 2022 has issued a notification to amend the Andhra Pradesh Petroleum Products (Licensing And Regulation Of Supplies) Order, 1980.
The following amendment has been made:
• In clause 3, which specifies Licencing of Dealer ,in sub-clause (4)- (5) , has been inserted, namely:
"(5) The Fair Price Shop Dealer authorized by the appointing authority, may purchase, store upto 20 Liquefied Petroleum Gas Refills of 5 Kgs Free Trade LPG(FTL) at a time and to sell to the consumers as permitted by the Oil Marketing Companies:.
Provided that the authorized person may purchase, store and sell the 5 Kgs. FTL till the validity of the period of authorization to run fair price shop and distribute scheduled commodities to the ration cardholders/ Mobile Dispensing Unit Operators concerned".
