Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Karnataka on June 06, 2022 has issued the Karnataka Educational Institutions (Registration and Recognition of Commerce Institutes) (Amendment) Rules, 2022.

The following amendment have been made:

• In rule 2L,- 

(i) for sub-rule (3), the following shall be substituted, namely:- 

“(3) must have passed Diploma in Commercial practice conducted by Technical Board; 

or” 

(ii) after sub-rule (3), so substituted, the following new sub-rule shall be inserted, namely:- 

“(4) must have passed PUC or equivalent examination and office automation and graphic designer course conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board.”

• In rule 2N of the said rules,- 

(i) in clause (a), for the word, figures and letters “Rs.3000-00 p.m”, the word, figures and letters “Rs.6000-00p.m”, shall be substituted; and 

(ii) in clause (b), for the word, figures and letters “Rs.1500-00 p.m”, the word, figures and letters “Rs.3000-00p.m”, shall be substituted.
