The Ministry of Textiles on April 2022 has issued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Guidelines for implementation of Central Sector Scheme “Silk Samagra-2”.
The following Guidelines has been stated namely: -
• Guidelines for Implementation of Core Activities of Central Silk Board –
The General Guidelines Constitutes of Research and Development, Seed Organisation, Coordination and Market Development, and Quality Certifications Systems (QCS)/Export, Brand Promotion and Technology Up-gradation.
• Guidelines for Implementation of Core Activities of Central Silk Board –
Specific guidelines for implementation of beneficiary-oriented critical interventions by the State are namely: CSB's R&D Institutes shall be consulted before formulating the projects and preparation of strategy and Annual Action Plan, States may involve NGOs, SPVs, Voluntary Service Organisations, Self Help Groups, Panchayat Raj Institutions (PRIs), in the identification of beneficiaries/stakeholders and even to implement the project, and The State Governments shall facilitate credit facilities from banks/financial institutions wherever applicable.
