The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) on June 17, 2022 has issued a notification to amend certain clauses of Resolution No. P-12029(11)/2/2018-OMC-PNG dated 08.11.2019.
The following amendment has been made:
• In clause 6.2.4, which specifies Universal service obligation (USO) for remote service Ros,
o The title has been substituted, namely:
“Universal service obligation (USO) for retail outlets including remote service Ros”
o The Line one has been substituted, namely:
The authorized entities shall have to follow certain Universal Service Obligations (USOs) in respect of retail outlets including remote area retail outlets in the manner given below and as prescribed by the Government from time to time.
