Commercial ComplianceThe Revenue Department, Andhra Pradesh on June 17, 2022 has issued New Bar Policy 2022. This shall come into force on September 1, 2022.

The following has been stated namely: -

• All existing bar license shall expire on June 30, 2022.

• The period of license shall be 3 years subject to payment of non-refundable registration charge and license fee with an enhancement of 10% p.a.

• The number of bars shall not exceed 840 bars.

• The non-refundable application fee for filing of applications shall be Rs. 5 lakhs, 7.5 lakhs, 10 lakhs as prescribed.
