The Pollution Control Board Assam (PCBA) on June 18, 2022, in Pursuance of the order passed by the National Green Tribunal regarding implementation of the Integrated Guidance framework for Chemical Safety in respect of the Isolated Storages and Industries covered under the Manufacture. Storage and Import of Hazardous Chemicals Rules, 1989, all the Regional Heads are hereby requested to ensure that the Industries and Isolated Storages covered under the aforementioned Rules have to submit the following information prior to forwarding the respective CTE/CTO applications to the Head Office:
1) Details on Onsite Emergency Plans.
2) Safety reports and Safety Audit reports in accordance with the Manufacture, Storage, and Import of Hazardous Chemicals Rules, 1989.
