The Labour Commissioner, Haryana on June 22, 2022 has issued Notification regarding the commissioner under the Employees’ Compensations Act, 1923.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Deputy Labour Commissioner will exercise the Power of Commissioner under the Employee’s Compensation Act, 1923, Authority under the Payment of Wages Act, 1926 and the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.
• The Concerned Deputy Labour Commissioner will exercise such power only in such event namely: -
1. When the post of the same is lying vacant
2. The Assistant Labour Commissioner is not competent.
