The Labour Department, Haryana on June 23, 2022 has issued Notification regarding exemption of workers from the operations of provisions of section 52(1) which states “Weekly Holidays”.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Exemption for workers who are working in the Factories in the State of Haryana and are enrolled as the voters Ward No. 8 of Municipal Committee, Safidon, Jind Void where General Elections are to be held on June 24, 2022.
• The week Commences from June 26, 2022 to July 2, 2022
• Condition: - No adult worker who is enrolled as voter for General Election of Ward No. 8 of Municipal Committee, Safidon, Jind shall be required or allowed to work on June 24, 2022.
