Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on June 27, 2022 has issued a circular to introduce Unified Payment Interface (PI) mechanism for Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT) and Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs) which was specified in SEBIs Circular no. SEBI/HO/DDHS/DDHS_Div3/P/CIR/2022/086 and SEBI/HO/DDHS/DDHS_Div3/P/CIR/2022/085 dated June 24, 2022, has decided to provide an additional option to individual investors to apply in public issues of units of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT) and Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs), with a facility to block funds through Unified Payments Interface (UPI) mechanism for application value upto Rs. 5 Lac.

The provisions of the above circular shall be applicable for all REITs and InvITs IPOs opening on or after August 01, 2022. 

NSE requests all market participants to take note of the above said provisions.
