Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on June 30, 2022 has issued the Drugs (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 2022 to further amend the Drugs Rules, 1945. This has come into force on June 30, 2022.

The following has been stated namely: -

• In Schedule K under Serial Number 39 under the heading ““Extent and Conditions of Exemptions”, the following proviso has been inserted namely: -

“Provided that the condition specified in clause (d) shall not be applicable for the drugs manufactured on or before the 30th November, 2022.”
