The Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Bihar on July 15, 2022 has issued a notice regarding Reward Scheme for those providing authentic information about violation of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 to check unlawful activities of such unscrupulous promoters/builders through active participation of Citizens, RERA Bihar is launching a reward scheme under which those providing authentic information about violation of the Act would be rewarded by the Authority.
The following pints have been provided under the scheme:
• The scheme entails seeking information about those incomplete or ongoing real estate projects which have not been registered with RERA Bihar.
• The informant must provide the details of such projects including name of the promoter/builder, address and contact details, details of the site where project is situated along with some photographs of the project site.
• Details of such projects can be shared with RERA Bihar through email by sending the details to [email protected]. Information received only at the given email address i.e. [email protected] would be considered for the Reward Scheme.
• The information would be cross-checked by RERA authentication purpose.
• If the information would be found to be correct, the informant would be provided a reward of Rs 10000 (Rs Ten Thousand Only-) for each unregistered project.
• In case the same information is received about any project from more than one informant, the one received first would be eligible for the award money. Decision of the Chairman of RERA Bihar would be final in this regard.
• The Authority reserves the right to disqualify any participant at its sole discretion, including if the information provided by the informant turns out to be false or incorrect.
• The identity of the informant would be kept confidential.
• In case of any dispute or objections regarding the scheme, matter would be referred to the Chairman of RERA Bihar whose decision would be final and binding upon all concerned.
• The scheme is open for all Indian citizens except employees and officers of RERA Bihar.
